This policy covers https://mrsimon.io, run by Simon Mambariza (“I”) through New Edge Revolution Digital Systems, South Africa. I am responsible for the personal information described here. It explains what I collect, why, which services process it and what you can ask me to do.
What I collect
- What you send me: your name, email, organization, website and message when you use the contact form or email me.
- Bookings: the details you give Calendly when you book a call (name, email, time, and your answers to its questions).
- Business research: if your business might need my services, I may record its name, website, the contact details it publishes, and notes about its public website. I do not buy or rent contact lists, and I do not send marketing emails to businesses that have not asked for them.
- Usage data: pages visited, the referring campaign (UTM tags), device and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics and similar tags.
Why I use it
- To reply to you and prepare for calls you book. Questions on the form are optional unless marked required.
- To decide whether my services fit a business I have researched, and to keep a record if it asks not to be contacted.
- To understand which pages and campaigns lead to inquiries, so I can improve the site.
- I do not sell your information, and I do not add you to a mailing list.
Who processes it
- Vercel and Cloudflare host and deliver the site and process technical request data such as IP addresses.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics measure site usage. If I run Google Ads, Google may also measure ad clicks and bookings.
- Calendly handles bookings under its own privacy policy.
- Zoho Mail delivers contact form messages to my inbox.
- Some of these services store data outside South Africa, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.
How long I keep it
I keep correspondence and booking details for as long as we are in contact and for up to two years after, unless you ask me to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask me to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, and you can object to my using it, including for any marketing. I keep a record of objections so I do not contact you again. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings.
If you are not satisfied with my answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za) or to the authority where you live.
